THE WATER

 

1/ My water is green :

 

A. Check of the rate of chlorine or bromine
B. Check of the rate of Ph (ideal 6.8 / 7.2)
C. Check of the number of hour of filtration, for it a rule to be known: temperature of the water / 2

 Solutions:
* Chlorination shock, use rather some powder chlorine with a filtration in continuous during 6 hours minimum
* Adjustment of Ph
* Wash and rinsing of the filter with sand

 

2/ My water is shady :

 

A. Check of Ph of the water (ideal 6.8 / 7.2)
B. Wash of the filter with sand (the sand must be changed every 4 years)


Solutions:
* Correction of Ph
* Put 1 or 2 cartridges of floculent (sock) in the skimmer or in the pump's prefilters. It will allow to eliminate micro-particles in suspension in the water.

 

3/ The walls of the pond are viscous: presence of seaweeds : 

 

A. Check of the rate of chlorine or bromine
B. Check of the rate of Ph


Solutions :
* Chlorin ation shock
* Brushing of walls
* Nonstop filtration
* Wash of the sand filter and rinsing

TECHNICAL PREMISES

 

1/ The pump makes noise :

A. Verify if the driving mask does not rub the helix.


Solution: 
* Change of the rolling bearing (quotation request with our AFTER-SALES SERVICE)

 

2/ Low pressure at the level of the buzzards of expulsion :

A. Wash of the sand filter and rinsing
B. Dismantling of buzzards, pebbles may block the opening

 

3/ Air bubbles at the exit of the buzzards of expulsion :

Verify if the lid of pump's prefilters is correctly closed.
